Enhanced International Exposure for the Theseus-EDHEC MBA Programme
Craig Marsh, Director of the Theseus-EDHEC MBA - February 7, 2006

The Theseus - EDHEC Full Time MBA programme will, from the September 2006 intake, introduce a new feature to the curriculum: - international visits. Participants will be given the opportunity to travel abroad, for up to a week at a time, to witness at first hand companies which have developed radical ways of responding to the challenges of managing knowledge effectively. Comprising meetings at senior level, and the opportunity to spend time on the ground' in the chosen organisations, the visits will create a strong link between the theoretical parts of the academic programme, and the practical experience of managers in the day to day world of managing knowledge workers.

An essential aspect of these visits will be their international flavour. The Theseus-EDHEC MBA has an entirely international faculty, and a class containing on average 16 nationalities. The visits will be an opportunity to reinforce this international culture by taking place in any country in the world that represents a learning opportunity for the class.

The company visits will complement the other key aspects of the MBA programme, which give participants the chance to practise what they have learned in the classroom: - the consulting projects, which last for nearly 8 weeks and which deliver real-world solutions to a client's strategic problems, and the in - house incubator, which allows the MBA class to follow teams of entrepreneurs as they build their own companies.

The Theseus-EDHEC MBA programme is one of the 7 reputed international post-graduate programmes that are offered by EDHEC Business School. These programmes are open to graduate students from all over the world and contain more than 50 different nationalities in their student body. This diversity, in addition to the fact that EDHEC Business School has France's largest offer of programmes taught entirely in the English language, makes EDHEC one of the top internationally-oriented Business Schools in Europe.
